Scene 028
Master of the Curtain Mist...What happened...?
TristaOld Master!
Master of the Curtain MistAh, you must be the Daughter of Wind. But what brings you here?
Master of the Curtain Mist!?
Master of the Curtain MistSo I was defeated by the Diva of the Twilight and fell under her control...?
TristaYes.
Master of the Curtain MistThe Wand of Balance brings peace to the hearts of men, and has the power to quell conflict.
Master of the Curtain MistBut using that power for evil allows the bearer to control the minds of others.
Trista...Which means the other Sages are probably under her control too.
Master of the Curtain MistI fear it is so... If she defeated them, they are most likely just as you found me.
Master of the Curtain MistNot content to simply take our Wands, she seeks to weaken the world further by controlling us.
IsaacThen what can we do?
IsaacYou're saying that no one has the strength left to defeat the Diva?
Master of the Curtain MistJust hold on there, young Mage.
Master of the Curtain MistHitting a problem head-on is not the only way to solve it.
Master of the Curtain MistSometimes you must ride the river, and change its course gradually from within.
Master of the Curtain MistIn order to ultimately reach a destination, it is sometimes best to take the long way round.
Master of the Curtain MistDo you understand what I'm trying to say?
If you choose “I think I do...”
IsaacI think I do...
Master of the Curtain MistGood, good. You are quick, I can tell. I'd like to take you on as my student!
If you choose “That would be great!”
IsaacThat would be fantastic! I hope I can meet your expectations...
Master of the Curtain MistGreat! I'm happy to have a new pupil after all this time.
Master of the Curtain MistWell then, I'll start by teaching you a wonderful new technique!
ContinuesIf you choose “Now isn't the time...?”
Isaac...I'm sorry. I already have a Master.
Master of the Curtain MistI see. Very well.
Master of the Curtain MistI'm sure the Witch of the Forest is very proud of her fine young pupil.
Master of the Curtain MistBut I can at least teach you a powerful new technique, if you'll let me.
ContinuesIf you choose “Not really!”
IsaacI'm sorry... I don't really understand.
Master of the Curtain MistDo not worry.
Master of the Curtain MistYou are still young. You cannot be expected to understand these things.
Master of the Curtain MistBut one day, and maybe sooner than you think, you will see my meaning.
Master of the Curtain MistAnd to help you reach that day, how about I teach you a new magic technique?
Master of the Curtain MistRaw power may not be everything, but you will certainly need more strength than you have now!
IsaacA new technique?
Master of the Curtain MistThat's right!
ContinuesContinues
Master of the Curtain MistThe ability to draw a combination of Runes. It's name... Duo Rune!
IsaacD... Duo Rune?
