Scene 005

If you choose “I will!”

IsaacI will! After all, who can make progress without first understanding the basics?

MasterVery good. You are wise before your time.

IsaacBut, still...

MasterYes?

Isaac...I'd like you to teach me some more powerful magic, too!

IsaacMagic like I saw my father use!

MasterNow Isaac... Grasp the cooking pot too soon and and you'll only burn your fingers.

MasterPower without control will bring disaster and unhappiness to those who wield it.

IsaacBut... I'm ready!

IsaacI want to catch up to my father so badly!

IsaacI know my parents are alive somewhere! I need to be able to go and find them!

MasterIsaac... You have a good, kind heart.

MasterBut rushing to obtain power is a mistake - such greed is a trap only for the wicked.

MasterPromise me, your Master, that you will bide your time... Understood?

Isaac...Yes, Ma'am. I promise.

If you choose “How boring...”

IsaacHow boring... I wanted to go and play in the forest!

MasterThat's enough of that!

MasterAm I not telling you every single day that nothing is more important than the basics?

IsaacI'm sorry! I know, Ma'am.

MasterI've told you about that, too! It's Master during lessons, not Ma'am.

IsaacYes, I remember, Master! I'm sorry!

MasterMy my, you are too much for my old bones!

Continues

MasterOh, bless me, I almost forgot!

MasterThe head of Tamta village sent a request for some Healish. Could you run it over there?

If you choose “No problem!”

IsaacOf course, no problem!

If you choose “Another boring chore...”

IsaacWhat? Not another boring chore...!

MasterThat's enough of that!

MasterIt is vital that we Mages aid those who cannot use magic themselves.

MasterI'm not teaching you magic just so you can go off looking for your parents, you know!

IsaacYes, I know! I'm sorry, OK, I'll go!

Continues

MasterTamta is to the west, remember. Don't go getting lost in the forest!

MasterGo straight there and come straight back, you hear me?

IsaacYes, Ma'am! See you later!
